The Ancients

Early visual development for the game Palia. This was exploring possibilities for ancient human ruins. Mainly a mood and tone and color study for a possible vertical slice. I already posted the concept we ended up going with for our first prototype vertical slice map. Learned a ton going through that process.

Here is a peek behind the curtain of some very early visual development concepts for Palia, before it was a game and just an idea. This project has been a massive labor of love and has been an amazing growth opportunity for me. Could not be happier with the dedication and what the team at S6 has been able to accomplish with Palia.
